I am having the exact same issue. However, this only happens on the workstation.
Workstation:
- Windows 7 Pro 64bit
- Installing SAP/b1 9.0 p09 client 32 bit
- Installation of client works and client runs without issue
When the client is started, the add-on installs without any issue as well.
The add-on attempts to start and the message "XXX Add-on failed to connect to database" appears, and the add-on does not start.
We have attempted all of suggestions from the above posting, however nothing seems to work.
We have a server where the add-on installs, runs, and performs perfectly.
Server:
- Windows 2012 R2 64bit
- Client installation is 32bit
Has anyone experienced this problem?
