SAP BW system copy without BDLS

Hi All,

We would like to copy our production SAP BW sytem (BWP) to the quality SAP BW system (BWQ), without executing the BDLS process.

We had a several problems with BDLS in the past, we would like to keep the production ECC source system name for the SAP BW quality system.

Then the futur ECC source system name for SAP BWQ will be ECP (Prod ECC) and not ECQ (quality ECC). In other words, the BWD will be connected to ECC quality system (ECQ) but this ECC quality system will named ECP.

Our questions:

1. Could we do the SAP BW system copy without BDLS process (keeping the ECC prod system source name)?
2. Knowing that the DTP and transformations IDs are different between BW quality and prod system (RSBKDTP conversion after transport), do you know how the system will react when we will transport later (after the system copy) a DTP (or transformation) from BWQ to BWP ?
