Please could you advise if it is possible to execute COPA Assessments on Year to date basis. This is a requirement from my user here where they want to run their allocations on YTD basis. This means YTD costs allocated on YTD drivers.
I know that in Material Ledger, there is concept of cumulation where actual costs of materials can be calculated on cumulative or YTD basis. Activity prices can also be calculated on YTD basis.
However, I am not certain if allocation methods such as KEU5 can be executed on cumulative or YTD basis. In theory, I would think the allocation result for a given period is the delta of the cumulative assessments between the current and previous periods.
Would like to know if you have come across such requirements and what is the technical set up required for such allocation.
