We currently have one company code operating in Pakistan with local currency PKR. Co area assigned to it also has the currency PKR, Currency Type "30 Group Currency" and Different Currency is also Checked. now we are going to create two more company codes with "AED United Arab Emirates Dirham for company code A and SAR Saudi Riyal for Company B. we assigned the same controlling area to These two new company codes which was successful. now when i was testing the configuration by posting an expense transaction the system asks me to maintain exchange rate for PKR/AED. when i did so it let me post the transaction. but when i view the cost center report it is showing m balance in PKR by using the exchange rate i maintained. but we want to see the co reports in company code currencies. my question is that can it be done? or should i create seprate co areas for the Two Companies? and also if i go it can be done then will the user have to maintain exchange rate on daily basis? and is it possible to get consolidated Financial Statements for the two new company codes with current settings?
