EPM 10/10.1 NW
During a client call i realized that a solution architect promised a live integration of ECC with EPM for their variance analysis as well as for consolidated figures from GL.
I admit I have exposure to EPM 10 on HANA but not on EPM 10.1 on HANA and we loaded data into BW on periodic basis.
What are the architectural differences in 10.1 that makes live integration feasible?
Is the live integration possible even in 10.1 classic model or only unified model.
Does 10.1 classic and Unified models both get rid of BW and directly integrates with HANA, making it a two tier instead of 3 tier (EPM/BW/HANA vs EPM/HANA)
I also notice that in 10.1 EPM Model can be attached with multiple infoproviders .. i wonder how exactly that works.
Didn't see a document which articulates the architectural comparisons and options between 10/10.1 classic/10.1 unified hence the confusion.
