Not able to Download File from transaction F110 to Application Server

Hello Experts,

                    In Transaction F110 - Environment - Payment Medium - DME Administration - then selection of row and Download.

                    I am using above Procedure to Download File and Path is set For The Application Server as '/xyz/abc/file1' but it is not working.

                    I am Able to download file on Presentation Server, but when i pass application server path it is giving an error 'File '/xyz/abc/file1' could not                     be opened'.

                    for DME Tree Variant 'Output To File system' is already checked in Transaction OBPM4.

                    Please Suggest any way out.
