I just don't want to blame anyone here.. sorry if anything sounds like that!
I started my day by accessing SCN to check recent responses to one of my questions that posted yesterday. After reading that response, I felt like, Quality of SCN has negative impact with Gamification! Moderator simply removed my content 'By suggesting to study some basics related XYZ'!!! I don't know who made him to think about XYZ in my post! And I don't know the next step where I don't want to waste my time by posting same it again.
I don't want to go into details about that particular post. There are many contributors like me who uses SCN after proper research and to resolve/understand the critical issues.
Sometimes, questions sounds very basic... but owner might want to understand that in more detail, next level, hear from you or it's not their area of expertise. Example, most of ABAP statements that runs on DB sounds very simple for you. But if you want to understand SQL point of view or SQL execution process of same statement then answer shouldn't be go and research!! I am I correct?
I think, some folks just want to reply at the earliest as they can get some points on positive side and nothing to loose on negative side. But remember, if you are replying without having clarity on original post then that can cause confusion to other contributors including moderators.
Finally, you can always respond to post... but don't confuse others and don't remove the content as you have access do it! That will never leave positive message here!!!
